Traben-Trarbach is located halfway between Koblenz and Trier, and between the Eifel and the Hunsrück on the other side is an excellent base for a variety of leisure activities.

And Traben-Trarbach at the turn of the century was the second largest wine-trading town in Europe after Bordeaux.
